Chevrolet Beat Diesel Launch


Chevrolet Beat Diesel is one of the most awaiting hatchbacks in India. The General Motors has decided to launch Chevrolet Beat Diesel on 27th July 2011. The Chevrolet Beat Diesel is expected to load with 1.0L TCDi SMARTECH diesel engines, which will have capacity to churn out the maximum power of 57@4000 rpm and peak torque of 150 Nm@1750 rpm. The Chevrolet Beat Diesel has got refined interior and exterior looks.


The company has already opened the advance bookings; you need to pay only 5 thousand rupees to book Chevrolet Beat Diesel. According to the ARAI (Automotive Research Association of India) reports, the new Chevrolet Beat Diesel gives 24kmpl on Indian roads, so customers need to worry about the fuel economy. The General Motors Talegoan plant has taken the responsibility to fabricate the Chevrolet Beat Diesel Engines.

The President and Managing Director of General Motors India Mr. Karl Slym said "With fluctuation in fuel prices in India from time to time, the new diesel Beat, the prices of which will be announced at the launch will revolutionise the small car segment, with its engine capacity and fuel economy."

Chevrolet Beat Diesel will be available in 4 variants namely PS, LS, LT, LT Option and the expected price tag of Chevrolet Beat Diesel falls at Rs. 5.0 - 6.3 lakh in Indian market.It competes with the models like Maruti Cervo, Honda Brio and Toyota Etios Liva.

Toyota Etios Liva Launch on June 27


Toyota Etios Liva is the most awaiting hatchback; the company has recently confirmed the launch date of Toyota Etios Liva. This robust Toyota Etios Liva will hit Indian roads on June 27, 2011. The company actually had a plan to launch Toyota Etios Liva in April but the decision postponed due to huge demand for Toyota Etios and massive earth quake in Japan. Toyota Etios Liva is a first hatchback from Toyota India, so car lovers are very curiously waiting around the country. It will come only in petrol version which is expected to load with 1.2L, the company might launch diesel version of Tata Etios Liva after getting responses from customers. It will directly compete with the models like Hyundai i10, and the upcoming Maruti Cervo and Honda Brio.

The official spokes person of Toyota India said "We have successfully reduced the waiting period to less than one month by undertaking necessary steps to increase the production. We look forward to a good response for the Etios Liva. Details will be announced at the time of the launch."

He also added that "The Etios has been very well received by our customers across the market. We have delivered more than 20,000 cars as on date."

Customers who want to buy Toyota Etios Liva should wait at least 2 month to get it after booking. The Bidadi (near Bangalore) manufacturing plant has taken the responsibility of manufacturing Toyota Etios Liva. Overall Toyota Etios Liva is expected to be a grand hit along with decent fuel efficiency.

Hyundai Verna Fluidic Got 5 Thousand Bookings Across India


Hyundai Verna Fluidic entered Indian market on May 11, 2011. It is an upgraded version of Hyundai Verna which is expected to be a grand hit in domestic market. Within a short period of time Hyundai Verna Fluidic has received 5000 advance bookings for it, the Company is very much excited to receive a huge response from Indian customers. It comes in both petrol and diesel variants in domestic market. The basic model of Hyundai Verna Fluidic is loaded with 1.4 Liter VTVT petrol engine and the basic model of diesel version is equipped with 1.4 liter CRDi diesel engine. The petrol version of Hyundai Verna Fluidic starts from Rs. 7,05,829 and goes up to Rs. 9,73,897. Whereas the price range of diesel version starts from Rs. 8,16,932 and ends up with Rs. 10,84,996 in Indian market.

Jaguar Land Rover To Invest Rs. 54000 Crore


Jaguar Land Rover, the British subsidiary of country’s largest vehicle maker Tata Motors, is planning to invest Rs.54000 crore in the coming five 5 years. The company is concentrating to improve its operations in India and around the globe. The new investment will be mainly centered on product growth; the Company is planning to grab the premium luxury car market around the world. Currently Jaguar Land Rover has only 4 dealerships in India, it is planning to increase it to 20 dealerships in the upcoming years.

Speaking on the occasion Chief Executive Officer of Jaguar Land Rover Mr. Ralf Speth said, "JLR is in the catch-up stage and we are going to do whatever we can to position ourselves in the top premium brand." He added that the company plans to invest 1.5 billion pounds (about 11,000 crore) per annum on its operations in the global market.

He added "We are looking forward strongly. Last month itself, we sold 74 cars in one month, which is a very good performance."

Ford Reached 100000th Engine Mark In India


Ford is one of the promising car manufacturer in India has recently reached 100000th mark in India. Ford India's Maraimalai Nagar manufacturing plant reached this achievement in just 14 months after its establish. The plant was established in January 2010 and it has an ability to manufacture 250,000 engines per Annam.

Speaking on the occasion President and Managing Director of Ford India Mr. Michael Boneham said "We are thrilled and proud to celebrate the 100,000 production milestone in such a short space of time - my congratulations to all plant employees for a job well done! This world-class manufacturing facility reinforces our intent and commitment to compete with great products and powertrains in all segments."

Ford Figo is the popular car from the company which has won many prestigious awards like ‘Car of the Year 2010’, Premium Hatchback award, Dearborn, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit-based car manufacturer Ford ruled the 2010 edition of the ET-ZigWheels.

Audi Q5 Launched In India


Audi Q5 - The German luxury car manufacturer Audi has recently (28 March 2011) launches its new product Audi Q5 2.0 TDI Quattro in Indian market. It is a SUV which is going to give a strong competition for BMW X3 in domestic market. Luxury car market in India is getting great demand these days, so the Company is expecting Audi Q5 2.0 TDI Quattro Diesel to be a decent hit. It comes with both petrol and diesel engine, the price tag of this car is Rs 3,905,000 (ex-showroom Maharashtra). The company takes a month to deliver it after its book.

BMW X3 To Hit Indian Market By June 2011



BMW X3 is ready to hit Indian roads; India’s largest luxury car maker BMW has recently leaked the information about the launch date of BMW X3. It is well know luxury SUV around the globe; the Company has recently launched its cheapest SUV BMW X1 in Indian market. But it did not glow due to its cheap quality which does not meet BMW standards. The Company is investing Rs 180 crores to expand its production and dealerships in India.

The President of BMW Mr. Andreas Schaaf recently stated in an interview that “The X3 to be launched in India will be assembled from completely knocked down (CKD) kits at the Chennai plant.” He added “BMW is committed to India. The group sees huge potential in the market and plans to expand its product range this year, the company have increased the capacity of its Chennai plant to 10,000 per annum from earlier capacity of 8,000 units”.

BMW X3 will directly competes against the models like Audi Q5 in India, currently the company is selling its models through 20 dealers, it plans to increase the dealerships up to 40 by 2012 in domestic market.
