Volkswagen Polo is now just contest away from your hands. The Indian subsidy of the car maker has started a contest to attract the customers in an innovative way. The people who take part in the competition will secure a chance to get a brand new Volkswagen Polo model.
Everyone seems to have to learnt their lessons on how to promote their car after the hugely successful promotion of the Mahindra XUV500 from the Indian SUV giant, Mahindra & Mahindra, who created a huge fan following and craze for the car among the Indian buyers with a unique online contest – Guess the Price. The statistics in fact say that the online contest from Mahindra achieved mega success with over 1.15 lakh visitors participating in the contest. The overall figures stood at over 6.5 lakh visitors at its website.
To take get your hands on the Volkswagen Polo you need to register for the Volkswagen’s Text Drive contest at the “textdrive” website. You will have to login to the Text Drive account. Once you have done with the initial formalities you will be asked to choose a Volkswagen India portfolio model, which in turn will let you win fuel points. The fuel figures will then help you in earning kilometers.
The chance of you getting close to your Volkswagen merchandize will depend on the kilometers you gain during the contest. The person who wins the highest kilometers will get the chance to be the owner of a brand new Volkswagen Polo model. In order to get the required kilometers, the participants will have to participate in various tasks including sharing of posts on their Face book and Twitter accounts, and giving out answers to quiz questions. The Volkswagen Polo will compete with the likes of Ford Figo, Nissan Micra and Honda Jazz etc.
