Honda and Toyota have Postponed their Operations in India

The Major Japanese car manufacturers Honda and Toyota have postponed their operations in India due to massive earthquake and Tsunami in Japan. Honda had a plan to display Honda Brio in this week in India and Toyota had postponed the official inauguration of its second manufacturing plant in Bangalore (Bidadi).

Speaking on this an official spokesman of Honda said “In light of the recent devastating earthquake that hit Japan, causing massive damage to life and property, Honda Siel Cars India has postponed the Honda Brio India preview event scheduled to be held on March 17.”

The largest car manufacturer of India Maruti Suzuki has postponed the celebrations to mark one-crore production milestone in India scheduled for Tuesday. The Chairman of Maruti Suzuki India Limited Mr. Chairman R. C. Bhargava said “This is a big tragedy on mankind. That is why we are not doing anything on our one crore production mark. We have canceled everything, this is not the time to celebrate.''
