Volvo S60 – Volvo has received more than 100 bookings for its recently launched Volvo S60. Volvo S60 falls in luxury segment. It is the cheapest car from the Company in domestic market. Within a short period of its launch, it has received more than 100 bookings. This shows the rising demand for luxury cars even after rising prices in fuel.
Volvo the Swedish luxury car maker is also planning to open 5 more dealerships in India. It is getting excellent responses from Indian market. In order to grab luxury car market in India, the company is strengthening its network around the country. The expected dealerships will be at Kolkata, jaipur, Ahmadabad, Chennai and Bangalore. The Company is targeting 12 dealerships in India by the end of 2011.
Managing Director of Volvo India Mr. Paul de Voijs said ‘’we are very optimistic the market will continue to grow and gradually we will also become a significant player.” He said that this bookings are expected, the company is hoping that they will get more bookings on Volvo S60.
