Tata Motors recently displayed Tata Pixel at 81th Geneva Car Show. The Chairman of Tata Group Mr. Ratan Tata unveiled it proudly. Tata Pixel is based on Tata Nano podium. The Company had plan to launch it 2011 but the negative publicity (cars caught fire) on Tata Nano made them to change their decision.
Speaking on the occasion an official spokesman of Tata Motors said “It’s one of the most promising car from the company is all I can say, he also added Tata Pixel will have large interiors and design that suits the taste of European customers.
Tata Pixel is expected to come with three door option which is specially designed for European market. The Interiors of the car looks good. It is expected to hit Indian roads in 2013. The Company has not revealed the price toll of it but it is guessed to be 1.5 – 2.5 lakhs (basic-top end model) in India. Tata Motors is hoping it will be a decent hit for them as per as sales is concerned.
