Tata Motors to hike prices of passenger vehicles

Tata Motors recently announced that it will increase the prices of its passenger vehicles. From April 1 customers will feel the heat of price. An official statement from the company confirmed about the hike in prices, apart from Tata Nano all other passenger vehicles is affected by price hike. The main reason behind the hike in prices is the increasing cost of raw materials.

Here is the list below the models and the expected hike prices.


Tata Nano - No
Tata Indica - Rs.7000 to Rs.9000
Tata Vista - Rs.8000 to Rs.11000
Tata Indigo CS - Rs.8000 to Rs.11000
Tata Sumo - Rs.13000 to Rs.15000
Tata Manza - Rs.10000 to Rs.15000
Tata Aria - Rs.30000 to Rs.36000
Tata Venture - Rs.9000 to Rs.12000

The Major car manufacturers like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai India, Ford and other companies is also planning to hike in prices. The Japanese car manufactures are also planning to follow the same procedures to recover the loss made by Tsunami and earth quake.
